With.in and with.out

Immerhin. Das ist doch schon mal was. Wir kommen uns langsam näher. Haha. Mal so mal so.

Revelations:
Demon: Daimon in the Greek - Is a “Demon” or ‘supernatural spirit’ of a bad nature.
Possess: The dictionary says, to possess, is to “enter into and control”.

God has been having us use the “Holy Anointing Oil” in all deliverances of “Demon Possessed” people. It doesn’t matter whether they are satanic priests, devil worshippers, or drug addicts, etc., they can all be delivered.

"Demon Possession” is the control of a person’s behavior by a ‘spirit’ that is in them. It is recognizable by the person’s bizarre behavior, and can usually be seen by looking directly into the person’s eyes. Sometimes you can smell the “Demons”.

Jesus said that “casting out devils” is a miracle, and miracles are a ‘Charisma Gift’ of the Holy Spirit. Before trying to do a deliverance, a Christian should be ‘Baptized (filled) with the Holly Ghost’, and needs the “Gifts” of ‘miracles’, and ‘discerning of spirits’. Being ‘Baptized with the Holy Ghost’ also gives us the “Power” to cast out “Demons”.

Always cast the “Demons” out in the “Name of Jesus”. This is a must!

The Bible teaches that there are basically 14 “Demonic spirits” that “possess” people. These “Demons” or ‘spirits’, lead people into sinful ‘habits’, and wreck havoc on their lives. They need to be ‘cast out’!

Some of the “Fourteen Demonic spirits” that are the hardest to cast out, are the ‘unclean’, ‘deaf & dumb’, ‘blind’, and ‘divination’. The others come out easier; however, they will sometimes ‘bundle’ together to resist more, but it doesn’t help them if you keep persisting.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

“Unclean spirits” are sometimes very hard to cast out. There can be many in one person. Those ‘Possessed’ by these “Demons” can be strong and violent. “Unclean spirits” are the ones that can lead to homosexuality, when it isn’t a ‘work of the flesh’. These ‘spirits’ will sometimes try to harass you vocally and threaten you, but they can’t harm you.

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The most important ‘Gift’ we need to have in ‘casting out’ “Demons” is the ‘Charisma Gift’ of ‘Faith’. It is ‘Faith’ that will help us to ‘believe’ that we can do it.

Demons aid the Devil’s opposition to God and share his functions as tempters, deceivers, and punishers. The distinction between Satan, the chief of all evil powers, and his demon subordinates remains theologically firm. Demons are perceived as swarming thickly, always and everywhere, alert to every opportunity to harm humans and spite God.
Demons ‘obsess’ (attack from without), or ‘possess’ (enter the body and seize it from within). They inflict disease, cause accidents, madness and death. They hurt animals and cause natural disasters. Their greatest joy is temptation, which is aimed at the corruption of the soul.

The operation of demons is a subject many believers are either ignorant of or misinformed about. Demons will come against believers, but they will also come against unbelievers. However, the operation of demons is different in believer’s life than in an unbeliever’s life. Contrary to what some believe, only an unbeliever can be possessed by a demon. The born again believer is possessed by the Holy Spirit and light and darkness cannot dwell together. Although Christians cannot be possessed by demons, they can be oppressed. A believer can be oppressed in body or in mind.

Satan is not an exalted creature. He is a creature of the ground. At one time he was exalted, but since the time he was cast from heaven, he has been a creature of the ground. The earth is his domain. The atmosphere around the earth is the domain of demons, but they do not rule the universe. God does. They have temporary access to heaven, but they have no authority or power there. They can access heaven to accuse the brethren (believers), but Satan’s domain is in the earth.

Lucifer held a position, rebelled, and lost his position. God created man to hold the position that Lucifer once held. Through deception, Satan took back his position in the earth. But where the first Adam failed, the Last Adam succeeded. Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, the born again believer has been reinstated to the position of authority he once held.

Revelation makes very clear who Lucifer is: the dragon, the old serpent, the devil and Satan. Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for a thousand years, during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. After a thousand years has passed, he will be loosed for a short time. But verse ten describes Satan’s final destination. He will be tormented day and night for ever and ever in the lake of fire and brimstone.

Like a convicted person pleading for a lesser sentence, they beg for and receive a new home in herd of pigs rather than being returned to the abyss from which they came. Very quickly this legion of demons realizes its mistake, for the pigs turn and run, drowning themselves in the waters of the lake. Truth be told, it must have been quite a sight—sort of like a stampede of buffalo over the western plains, or to put it in more modern terms—a crowd of shoppers rushing into a Wal-Mart on Black Friday morning. (Christmas shopping—uniquely designed to bring out the demons in all of us). But instead of running off with a great deal on I-pods, the demons wind up with a first class ticket back to the abyss, for without a live host in which to live, it appears they are doomed. In contrast, the man is healed and free—his identity, his humanity is restored by the One who calls us by name.

There is fear, which seeks to limit us; shame, which isolates us; and greed and the abuse of power that distorts the focus of our worship to the things of this world rather than God—all these and more can affect and potentially rule our lives. The demons we struggle with today, as always, can cloud our minds and hearts so that they can keep us from being the loving, open human beings we are called to be as children of God. They call us to turn inward, separating us from others as well as our own selves, drawing us away from the community in which we are called to live as members of the Body of Christ.

The One who loves us beyond all measure knows our struggles and offers himself willingly and completely so that we may be made free. Never are we alone, for no matter how cut off we feel, our Lord will come to meet us, to welcome us, to be with us. We may forget who we are, but the One who calls us by name never does—for as we are uniquely created, we are also uniquely named, uniquely loved. No one can take your place in God’s heart. God’s desire for us to be restored to the fullness of our humanity, in relationship with God and with each other, is absolute; and our Lord will face and defeat all the demons that the world can muster in order to see that happen.

“It is finished”
Just three words that say it all; The defeat of Satan and all his evil angels. The finish of man made religious systems God’s door thrown wide open and his welcome mat out. The sting of sin has been pulled and its poison neutralised.
“It’s is finished”
And the shockwaves reverberate through the heavenly realms as the principalities and powers who have done their worst, utterly fail to corrupt the Holy Son of God. The enemy is at a standstill, and the unstoppable God begins to rise up in power never before seen on the earth. It’s the beginning of the end. God has given his answer.
“It’s is finished”
It’s a shout that every demon spirit of hell hears and never forgets. It’s the shout of victory that echoes around the universe and down through the centuries for all time. It’s a shout of triumph that stays in the ears of men and women and boys and girls of all races in every nation on earth! It’s Gods full and final answer for every human need. It’s the victory song of the church. It’s the national anthem of the Kingdom of God. It’s the best news the human race has ever heard.
“It is finished!”

Satan knows that he cannot take God on directly, so he tries to outsmart Him. This effort (the equivalent of a spiritual cold war) has one main thrust—to prevent people from becoming saved. Satan knows that this tactic delays God’s plan and gives him more time to come up with his own plan. The delaying is accomplished using two tactics. The first is to promote any theology that requires selfeffort to reach God (RELIGION vs. Christianity). That strategy makes it difficult to discern the true from the false (a classic ‘can’t-see-the-forest-for-trees’ scenario). The second tactic is to hamper the efforts or credibility of Christians who attempt to witness.

Witchcraft is an indirect form of Satan worship. Witchcraft (and its more direct form of worship—Satanism) have been with us as long as the worship of God. Thousands of clay figures found at buried sanctuary sites in the Near East, dating back to 8000 BC, depict naked women—many pointing to or fondling their breasts or genitalia. This is characteristic of the polytheistic cults of those periods who practiced prostitution.

Satan is powerful. He can make you sick. He can set up nations and he can bring down nations. Make no mistake about it. Satan is a power to be reckoned with. He is our enemy and his power is malignant. Moreover, his powerful malignancy is directed against us at all times. There is never a moment that the power of the enemy is not directed against you. It may be subtle, or it may be right out in broad open daylight. It may be through trying to seduce your mind and con you, but his malignant power is always directed against a child of God.

Satan has power. He turns men into alcoholics. He causes women to be abused. He causes little children to be sexually abused and hungry. He causes homes to crack up. He causes division. He causes sickness. He is a powerful enemy. Never-the-less, Jesus said, "I have given you authority over the power of the enemy."

The Name of Jesus must be used like a battering ram. It must be used like a sledge hammer. It must be used like a machete. Sometimes you will get results using it one time, but most of the time you are involved in a protracted war using the Name. A war is a protracted series of battles which is not over in fifteen seconds. In war, there is a swaying back and forth until someone quits.

You can command your thought life. You can make your brain think what you want it to think. The weapons at our disposal will deal with all the things you need them to deal with. No matter what the devil throws against you, you have a weaponry to deal with it. Among others, these weapons are the Word, confession of the Word, the Holy Ghost, the name of Jesus and praying in the will of God.

The purpose of understanding Spiritual Warfare is so that we can understand the dynamics of the conflict, and move forward in victory, rather than lie in defeat. Our goal is to advance the Kingdom of God, take territory from the enemy and bring souls into the kingdom. If we understand how our enemy works, his traps and strategies are less likely to take us by surprise. Satan understands the redeemed (saved) are his mortal enemy. His goal is to remove the advantage of victory they have in Christ, by causing the saved to wallow in bondage and defeat. A defeated Christian is one less enemy Satan has to worry about; one more warrior of the Kingdom of God taken out of commission. Knowing this is Satan’s goal, allows the believer to pursue victory rather than wallow in defeat.
We need to understand just how Satan wages war in our lives, and in the lives those around us. If we know his methods, we will then be equipped to disarm, and tear down the strongholds, which cause our constant defeat. Knowing the method of spiritual warfare, allows us to go on the offense, rather than responding from a position of defense and weakness.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive
every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Warrior does not mean one who holds power over others, it means one who holds their own inner power from a place of congruency, love and non-judgment. This is the initiation to the warrior path.

There is a great war being waged in the world today. It is not a conflict between nations, tribes, or government leaders. It is not a rebellion or coup. It is an important invisible battle taking place in the spirit world. The Bible states that God's people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. One of the main areas in which believers are being defeated due to lack of knowledge is in spiritual warfare.

The exposing of the enemy and his strategies is one of the greatest revelations of God's Word. Even greater is the revelation that as believers we have power over all the powers of the enemy. As in natural warfare, skill in spiritual warfare is progressive as you enter the combat zone and begin to fight.

Spiritual warfare is "multidimensional,” which means it is fought in different dimensions. It is...
1. A social battle between the believer and the world
2. A personal battle between the flesh and the spirit
3. A supernatural battle between believers and evil spiritual powers

Every person alive is engaged in this battle, whether he realizes it or not. There is no neutral ground. Unbelievers are in bondage to evil and have been taken captive by enemy forces. They are victims of the war.

Satan uses his demons to accomplish this strategy throughout the world. Demons extend Satan's power by promoting deception and wickedness. They affect individuals, governments, nations, and the world system. They promote rebellion and slander both God and men. They promote idolatry, false doctrines, and blind men and women to the truth of the Gospel.
These demons attack unbelievers driving them to commit terrible evil acts, to murder, injure, commit suicide, etc. They affect the mind with emotional problems and the body with physical infirmities. Demons attack believers by temptation, deception, depression, and oppression. They try to keep you in bondage to habits and fear. They accuse and slander you and create division among the people of God. They target your spiritual walk with God and fight against the Word of God, the worship of God, and your work for God. They also attack your physical body.

As your enemy, the world is the whole organized system of social, economic, materialistic, and religious philosophies which have their expression through organizations, personalities, and governments. It is not a specific government, organization, or person, but the worldly system upon which these are based. The world system is an extension of man's fleshiness. It provides an atmosphere, environment, and system which promotes fleshly sins. It surrounds man with that which appeals to his fleshly desires.

The principle of binding and loosing is an important strategy to overcome the power of the enemy. It is a key to the Kingdom of God. In every situation with which you are confronted...every problem, every challenge...there is a spiritual key. That key is in exercising the principle of binding and loosing. When you recognize what to bind and what to loose and act upon this discovery, the enemy will be defeated.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit are valuable weapons of offensive and defensive battle. The gifts of the word of knowledge and the word of wisdom provide supernatural revelation for spiritual warfare. The gift of discerning of spirits reveals the deception of the enemy.
The special gifts of pastor, prophet, apostle, evangelist and teacher assist in equipping us for battle. The speaking gifts of the Holy Spirit provide special instructions from God and the serving gifts of the Spirit enable the army of God to move forward in spiritual advance.

Your spiritual armor is not like a athletic uniform you put on at game time. You put on the armor once and for all and leave it on the rest of your life. Just as a soldier on the battlefield does not take his armor off and on, you will not lay down your armor until you go to be with the Lord. If you do not have your armor on at all times, you are vulnerable to the enemy. It is wise to check often that each piece of your spiritual armor is still in place.

In the spiritual world many believers are totally unaware of the warfare raging around them and have not adopted a wartime lifestyle. Church fellowships plan programs and parties but they do not have a battle plan. They live in luxury and ease while the enemy is claiming the souls of unnumbered men and women without Jesus Christ. Members of the fellowship are discouraged, depressed, and living in fleshly sins. They are victims of a war they do not even know exists. You must understand: We are at war! We should adopt a wartime life-style in the spirit world. Spiritual warfare should become the focus of our lives. We should spend time in preparation and training. We should learn of and put to use our spiritual weapons.

As believers, we are at war in the spirit world. We have an opportunity to fight and die for something. We do not have to spend our lives in routine monotony of eating, sleeping, and working. We fight for a Kingdom to which there will be no end. We fight for a Commander who has already conquered the enemy forces. Our victory is assured. We have something worth living for, fighting for, and if called upon to do so, worth dying for.

Another way Satan attacks you is through human personalities. Satan can use people around you to attack you spiritually. The attack may come from family, friends, enemies, business associates, or even strangers.

Through "spiritual wickedness in high places" Satan aims for the total allegiance of man. He uses false cults, his own church of Satan, and infiltration into the Body of Christ to accomplish this purpose.

There is a special gift of the Holy Spirit called "discerning of spirits." It is an unusual ability given by God to immediately discern another person's spirit and know if they are good or evil. If you have this spiritual gift, use it in dealing with spiritual wickedness in high places.

The church is actually to demonstrate His power to these principalities and powers! We must exercise this ministry to bring deliverance from those in bondage to "spiritual wickedness in high places." We must turn men from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to the Kingdom of God.

These demonic powers afflict the soulish nature of man. They are responsible for immoral acts, unclean thoughts, temptations and other strategies of Satan used to bind men and women. When Satan controls individuals with unclean spirits, he can also operate in homes, churches, and entire nations as these groups are composed of individuals. This is how Satan works in the various levels of structure in society.

Demons can also possess human beings. Demon possession is a condition in which one or more evil spirits (demons) inhabit the body of a human being and take complete control of their victim at will. Some people prefer using the word "demonized" rather than possession, but regardless of the term, the possessed person is host to resident demons. "Possession" does not mean a person is not responsible for his own sin. His responsibility rests with the factors that led to his condition.
Possession can happen willingly. A person may desire to be taken over by spirit powers in order to conduct seances, pronounce curses, become a witch, or secure some other supernatural power. Possession can also occur unwilling. An individual does not ask to be possessed, but through sinful thoughts, actions, or contact with the occult possession results.

Demons gain control in several ways:
1. Through generations: Demons may oppress or possess a person because of previous possession or oppression of the parents. This accounts for demonic influence over children.
2. Through the mind: The mind is one of the major battlefields of Satan. If Satan can control your thoughts, he will eventually control your actions. Lack of mental control eventually results in lack of use of the will. This leads to sinful actions. Continuing in sinful thoughts and actions can lead from oppression to possession and finally to a reprobate mind. This is a mind totally controlled by evil thoughts. Demons also gain access through mind-altering drugs which reduce the ability to resist demons and grant increasing access. "Brain washing" or "mind control" teaching also provides an entrance point.
3. Through sinful actions: Sinful thoughts are soon fulfilled by sinful actions. For example, the thought of adultery is fulfilled in the actual act of adultery. Sin is rebellion, and rebellious thoughts and actions provides an entry point for demonic activity.
4. Through desire: Some people desire and request of Satan to be under the control of demons powers. They do this for purposes of having supernatural power or performing supernatural acts.
5. Through an empty "house": Demons consider the body of the person they inhabit as their house. When a person who has been delivered from demonic powers does not fill his spiritual house with the new birth experience and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, reentry may occur.
6. Through permission: Sometimes God grants permission for activities of demonic powers to accomplish special purposes. This can be allowed as a trial of believers.

"In the name of Jesus Christ and on the basis of the authority of His power, His Word, His blood, and the Holy Spirit I bind you and I command you foul spirit of Satan to depart without harming and without creating noise or disturbance. I forbid you to reenter this person and I loose the Holy Spirit to fill of this person with the cleansing, delivering power of the blood of Jesus."

There is a warfare going on in the spiritual world over you. That warfare is manifested in the difficult circumstances you experience in the natural world. An important truth is that nothing can enter the life of a believer without the knowledge of God. God does not cause your suffering. It is inflicted by Satan, but its limits are set by God. God's power is greater than that of Satan, and you will experience victory if you continue to trust Him.

When you experience suffering you often focus your attention on cause and effect. You are concerned with what caused the difficult circumstances and the terrible effect it is having in your life. God wants to change your focus from struggling to understand the temporal situation to recognizing the benefits of the eternal.

It is through affliction that you move beyond the calling as a child of God to become chosen of God. Affliction according to the will of God refines you for His use just as metals are refined in a furnace in the natural world. God actually prepares you to wage warfare against the enemy by suffering!

When you come to know God intimately through suffering, you see yourself as you really are. You no longer know God second-handedly. That face-to-face encounter with God does what arguments and discussions cannot do.

Each of the great leaders mentioned lost battles with the enemy. As you engage in spiritual warfare, you too may experience a loss. But although you lose a battle with the enemy, it does not mean you have lost the war. A war is made up of many battles. Just because you lose one battle does not mean you have lost the war.

There is a great and final conflict which will bring this spiritual war of the ages to a triumphant conclusion. Satan and his evil forces will be defeated and Jesus will reign forever as King of Kings.
